DO YOU HAVE PRIOR OUTSIDE SALES EXPERIENCE? ARE YOU SELF MOTIVATED AND LOOKING FOR FULL/ PART-TIME WORK WITH FLEXIBLE HOURS?

We are N2 Publishing, a national publishing company expanding in the Sacramento area and seeking a local person with a proven track record in outside sales. Advertising sales experience is a bonus but not required. Our sales reps will be selling magazine ad space and event sponsorships in our publications to local businesses.

This is a part-time, commissioned, contract position, with future full time potential for the right person. Our part time account executives will often work 10 to 25 hours a week around their other commitments. This flexibility is ideal for someone with many other current life obligations. As we grow here in Sacramento there will also be options for growth with the company.

We are looking for someone who has an ability to work on their own and self motivate. Cold calling experience is necessary as is the discipline to work from home. You will consult with new clients, generate prospects, and meet with business owners.

Ideal candidate has a college degree or are working towards one and is interested in a future career in advertising/publishing. We have a proven sales program and offer full training.

Job Requirements:
• Ability to follow proven program.
• A minimum of one year sales and/or prospecting experience, including experience with outbound calling on a daily basis
• Ability and willingness to aggressively contact and qualify prospective customers regarding setting appointments.
• Ability to self-motivate and work in an un-structured environment.
• Ability to circumvent the various “gatekeepers” that usually surround the decision-makers in prospect companies, and gain access to targeted persons, persistency and tenacity are keys
• Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive and willingness to close and ask for the order.
• Basic computer skills such as Word, Excel & Google Calendar
• Car, phone, computer and internet access at home
