I am offering my Lake Front Home, as is, to any serious bid no lower than $143,000. I bought another place and need to sell this one; however, I am not in desperate need. Currently, Zillow values the property at $144,000. At the hight of the market, it valued at over $200,000. I paid $155,000 back in 2003. The value of this home is absolutely going to increase in the near future. Make no mistake, this is a good deal for someone who wants reasonable waterfront property.
I am looking at re-financing the house for a lower interest rate, renting it out, and waiting for the market to recover (this is the most likely scenario). However, I'm not the landlord type and would prefer to simply unload it. So, I'm floating this option now for a couple weeks. After which, I will go through with the re-financing and the deal will be off the table. I owe $143,000 on the house, so I will ABSOLUTELY NOT entertain any offer less than this amount; please don't waste my time unless you've done the research and really want to own this property.
