The Children’s Organ Transplant Association and Team Wesley are working together to help a 21 year old young man in need of a life saving double lung transplant. Wesley Telsrow was diagnosed at birth with Cystic Fibrosis a genetic diseases that affects the lungs and intestines. Wesley's Doctors at the University of Chapel Hill have recommended a double lung transplant to save his life. Wesley is now staying at the hospital until his transplant due to the condition of his lungs. His family and friends are working to raise $35.000.00 dollars with the help of COTA a non-profit organization. On Saturday August 28th in Bessemer City from 5pm -10 there will be a free concert with Loaded Mule Band, Magicain Chastian Criswell, food and games for the kids at Kevin Millwood Park on E Washington St. Everyone is invited to attend and join the fun for a great cause. All proceeds will go to COTA for Wesley's medical needs.
