AOR Solutions is currently looking to fill an open Principal Program Manager -Adoptions position for a company which is the Aerospace Industry's Leading Producer of OEM-Licensed Legacy Products.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: This position requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES FOR THIS JOB: The Principal Program Manager serves as General Manager for assigned programs, and holds the following key tasks and responsibilities:

1. Assist Director and executive team with strategic and tactical duties of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling programs/initiatives, short- and long-term organizational plans, budgets, personnel, and functions in licensing and manufacturing aviation legacy products.
2. Set and adjust the business practices of the managed teams to keep them competitive and successful in an ever-changing business environment. Must be able to interpret the applicable policies and procedures make recommendations to cover any gray or unclear areas that might present themselves during the departmentís operations.
3. Develop new business opportunities
4. Write reports on business operations and make presentations to the executive staff
5. Participate in pre-award evaluations of potential adoptions (product transitions)
6. Work closely with Director to define and integrate PM and continuous improvement methods and processes across the department
7. Participate in licensor relationship management during adoption process
8. Drive successful project closure and hand-off to functional departments
9. Work across company functions to successfully manage assigned programs or accounts to meet business objectives
10. Other tasks as may be assigned by management
