Metropolitan Community College is seeking a highly motivated Field Instructor/Adjunct for its
Business and Technology Campus - Electric Utility Line Technician Program.

If you are a current or retired Journeyman Lineman we would like to make you a part of our team that is providing the utility industry with safe, qualified candidates for hire! Our Field Adjuncts provide field instruction with limited classroom lecture in our Electric Utility Line Technician program. Our program involves students who want to get into the power delivery field in various job classifications with the focus on the lineman craft. MCC-BTC Adjuncts have the opportunity to attend conferences, lineman rodeos, and other events.

• Journeyman lineman certificate or documented experience.
• Ability to climb wood poles up to 45 feet in height.
• Ability to train others in a classroom and field environment.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations applying to electrical linework such as OSHA, NESC, etc. and the ability /desire to research new/current regulations and technology.
• Must be of high level honesty, professionalism, and integrity.
• Ability to communicate verbally in a professional manner with colleagues, students, potential students, parents, alumni, and staff
• Computer knowledge a plus.
