Every school day in the United States, over 160,000 bullied children purposely miss school because they are afraid to go. School bullying has led to numerous youth suicides, school shootings and outbreaks of violent retaliation. And yet, school bullying is regarded by some as 'just a part of growing up.'
This free seminar will address the issue realistically; providing awareness and common-sense strategies for parents and educators. It is a program that will enrage and enlighten the participant like few programs ever do or have done. You may not agree with everything that you see or hear, but you will not soon forget it. It is the goal of the presenter for you to leave ready to do something about the school bullying problem that is 'alive and thriving' in one form or another and to every extent, in every school in this country.
On Saturday, August 7th, join parents, educators, social workers and other interested adults at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, for a full day of awareness and strategy.
