There is one thing that many people fail to realize when beginning a fitness program. This often leads to frustration and failure. The truth is, becoming physically fit and achieving the body you always wanted is a 24-hour job. You cannot expect to make progress from 3 hours per week in the gym if the other 165 hours in the week are less than adequate. Achieving the body you always wanted and becoming much healthier in the process can be limited by several factors, such as poor nutrition, lack of sleep, elevated stress levels, and an unbalanced approach to fitness. My philosophy as a certified personal trainer is to teach clients how to impliment fitness into every aspect of their lives to finally start seeing some real progress that people will notice. As a trainer, and as someone who trains consistently on my own, I never focus purely on vanity. If you continue to exercise on a regular basis, you will feel better and become much healthier, as well as reduce your risk for several diseases, such as coronary heart disease and type-2 diabetes. The fact is, however, that the aesthetic effects will come as a result of exercising for enhanced health. Aesthetic results and improved health results go hand-in-hand.
