Would like a job that is tax free and let's you help others too?! If you have the ability to be flexible, patient, understanding, caring and consistent then contact Children's Service Society of Wisconsin (CSSW) to get information about becoming a treatment foster parent.
CSSW is the largest private, not for profit provider in Wisconsin of child welfare services. CSSW has offices and locations throughout the state providing out of home care services to children and adolescents. As a treatment foster parent you would be opening up your home to provide a caring structured environment for a child that is displaced from his/her home because of family discord, neglect, abuse &/or the child's behaviora//emotional issues. These children are placed in foster homes for varying lengths of stay, some until graduating from high school, some until reunification with family and some while looking for adoptive resources. These children vary in age range but most typically are 10 and older.
CSSW provides 24/7 support and assistance to treatment foster parents and helps them obtain and maintain the training necessary. The basic requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years experience parenting or working with children.
If interested, please contact Andrea at CSSW at (920) 569-9822 for more information.
