Harris Grill in Shadyside is accepting applications by July 24 for position of Kitchen Manager. Position reports to directly to GM and owners, and supervises staff of AKM, cooks, and dishwashers producing over $1M in annual food sales. Our current KM is moving out of state in two months; we will be hiring his replacement in mid-August.
Applicant should possess strong leadership and sandbox skills, mastery of safety and sanitation procedures, competency in scheduling labor to a budget, maintaining inventory, and minimizing waste. Proven leadership history, ACHD certification required; prefer culinary or related degree. Salaried position, requires approx 50 hours standing, repeated heavy lifting, and climbing stairs.
