This position is responsible for all aspects of the administration of the systems involved with the flow of email including: Active Directory Administration of schema, user and objects related to email, Firewall administration for email ports and web access, servers, PDA access, Archive management, Backups, listserv and assistance with network devices, software applications, desktop PCs, laptops, helpdesk & user support.

Responsible for maintaining email environment including: Firewall, spam filter, BES, Windows Servers, AD environment, listserv and archive.
Respond in a timely fashion to and resolve Tier 2 & 3 calls
Communicate accurate information in a timely manner by updating and entering information into a Helpdesk system.
Track hours worked with details as to what work was accomplished for the day
Maximize uptime and availability of all network services, assisting in new technology and upgrades in hardware and software
Work closely with other team members as necessary (who may be remote)
Manages documentation as required
Provides input to the technology planning process through ongoing research.
Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude at all times and in all situations
Work overtime hours, including weekends, as necessary to meet personal and team commitments.
Other duties as may be assigned.

Extensive Microsoft Exchange expertise and Operating System expertise (WinXP, Win2K8) including Active Directory Account Management in a multiple domain environment
Extensive Microsoft Outlook expertise (2003/2007)
General Network skills (Routing, DNS)
At least 6 years of experience in the information technology field and able to demonstrate increasingly responsibilities in work history
Firewall Expertise
Masterful expertise in anti-spam & anti-virus, backup and general system administration with email
Knowledge of VMware
Microsoft Exchange, Windows server and Active Directory certified, McAfee Enterprise Firewall and Enterprise Email Gateway certifications or capabilities to obtain quickly with training.
Understanding of Email litigation and eDiscovery requirements and use of archive tools
Knowledge of BES administration
Ability to stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities
Desire to learn and grow as an computer administrator or consultant
At least 2 years providing helpdesk support to internal or external clients
At least 4 years in a systems or network administration role

4yr College degree, with Computer related majors preferred
iSCSI SAN knowledge and expertise
Knowledge of Power Shell scripting
