Advanced Process Services, LLC is an all inclusive process service business based in Greenville, SC, that serves process throughout the entire state of South Carolina. We serve all of our own legal papers and do not out-source to any other process service business like many of the larger national chains do. The law enforcement background of our employees (City, County and Federal experience) gives APS expertise in the field of tracking and locating hard to find individuals.
Unlike many mom and pop and/or part time process service businesses, APS is a licensed and fully insured process service business (1,000,000 Liability / 1,000,000 Errors & Omissions). This insurance coverage guarantees our clients that APS takes sole responsibility for its actions and will follow all legal and ethical guidelines.
In addition to standard process services, APS can perform skip tracing, substitute forms of service (certified mail and/or publication in news papers), filing services with the courts, rush service and emergency service (see below for details)
PRICING: APS conducts process services throughout the state of South Carolina. Below are our rates as they apply to clients that utilize APS for their process services. *Greenville County area- $60 (includes a minimum of three separate attempts) *Spartanburg County area- $75 (includes a minimum of three separate attempts) *Anderson County area- $75 (includes includes a minimum of three separate attempts) *Pickens County area- $75 (includes a minimum of three separate attempts) *Other locations in the State of SC- $85 plus $.45 per mile away from business location (includes three separate attempts)
The above prices are for Routine Service, which is normally a first attempt for service to be made within 48 hours of receipt of papers, unless otherwise specified by the client. A Rush Service is available, which will give the client a first attempt of service within 24 hours of receiving papers. A Rush Service will be at a cost of $20 in addition to all of the base rates listed above. All of the above rates include a minimum of three attempts. If a third unsuccessful attempt of service is made and the client changes addresses of the person to be served, then additional attempts can be made at a charge of $20 per additional attempt. The above rates are for the service of a single document at each given address. A $10 fee will be applied for each additional document that needs to be served at the same address, verses charging the client the entire service fee over again for a new document.
In the event that you have one of those hard to find and serve persons or business registrants, APS offers an Emergency Service. The emergency service cost $250 per day for Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson and Pickens Counties services. Other location are at the same daily rate of $250, plus $.45 per mile. Emergency services guarantee the following to our clients, if needed: skip tracing (addresses, person, business, phones, relatives, neighbors...etc.); a minimum of one full time process server who will devote a minimum of 10 hours each day to your case exclusively; initial attempt for service and investigation started within hours of receiving papers to be served; ongoing contact with our clients to keep them abreast of the current situation and if service has been made; a notarized affidavit of service or affidavit of due diligence after completion of emergency service.
In all types of services (routine, rush or emergency), if substantial attempts (minimum of three) are made without successful service of documents; APS will provide the client with an Affidavit of Due Diligence. In this situation, APS will advise the client to ask the courtís to permit substitute service (i.e. certified mail with returned receipt, publication in a newspaper...etc.). This service can also be completed through APS for an addition cost of $45. This price includes running an ad in the newspaper for a minimum of once a week for three consecutive weeks and/or sending certified mail (guidelines required by law). APS also offers the service of filing all served documents with the courts at an additional cost of $10 per document served in the Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson or Pickens Counties. A $25 fee per document, plus mileage, will apply for filing services in locations classified as "other" locations across SC.
