Multimedia Games, Inc., (“MGAM”) a Texas corporation, based in Austin, Texas, acting through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, is a leading supplier of interactive systems, electronic games, and player terminals for the Native American gaming market, as well as the growing racino, charity bingo and video lottery markets. MGAM designs and develops networks, software and content that provide its customers with comprehensive gaming systems delivered through a telecommunications network that links its player terminals with one another both within and among gaming facilities. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position will be to process gaming licenses for the company and its principal officers. The applications will include renewals and new applications for gaming jurisdictions, as well as assistance to employees on their applications. This requires the ability to handle very sensitive information in a secure and private manner. The position will require maintaining ongoing relationships with licensing jurisdictions. This position reports directly to the Compliance Manager. This person will keep the Compliance Manager informed of issues and events in the jurisdictions for proper categorizing and responses.
Licensing Submissions and Tracking The Compliance Analyst shall coordinate and manage his/her assigned jurisdictional licenses and ensure that renewals and new applications are submitted in a timely manner.
•Process and track license submissions for the organization •Process and track license submissions for each principal officer •Provide updates to the Compliance Manager •Accurately maintain and update database and documentation
Employee Licensing Liaison •Assist employees in maintaining their licenses •Maintain strict confidentiality of information •Communicate with cross-functional departments on status and needs
Qualifications/Requirements •Required – One year licensing experience •Required – Extreme attention to detail •Required – Associate or Bachelor’s Degree may be waived based on experience •Required – ability to work under tight deadlines •Required – Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral) •Required – At least 3 years working with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) •Preferred – Paralegal Formal Training or Certificate •Preferred - 2-5 years working for a company or law firm
