Concert Pianist and Composer (Stanford Doctorate) looking for a room in which to practice teach and compose. This Composer has received numerous awards in Music including the Eisner Prize for Creative Excellence and the Hertz Fellowship for Advanced Studies in London) He has taught at Stanford and was on the faculty at UC Berkeley for many years. His performances have met with great acclaim over the years. He would like to move a Steinway 6 foot Grand piano into a secluded room and use the room daily for a maximum of 5 hours per day. He owns an Eichler home in Palo Alto but it is too small to teach in and not quiet enough to compose. The style of music he plays and composes is tonal classical (such as Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff) and popular Standards (in the style of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Count Basie, Duke Ellington etc - absolutely no rock n roll!) He is looking to rent such a space by the month or in whatever arrangement makes the most sense to the provider. Also, he is willing to trade professional services - lessons or performances - if that is of interest to the provider. A secluded room in a residence or another facility (such as a church) would be great. If you have such a situation or know of one, please email him. His personal email is listed above. Strong References will be provided. Thanks for your consideration.
