SCHULTE is hiring for a Customer Service Representative and is looking for a candidate who can assist with inputting customer orders or verifying orders placed by an online order process. This role responds to customers’ inquiries or complaints regarding the company’s products or services and determines best methods to resolve complex customer service problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to organizational policies. The CSR will display a commitment to SCHULTE’s core values. Other duties include:
• Building and maintaining relationships with assigned customer base to understand and serve customer needs, including establishing proactive communication with customers to ensure their understanding, handling quality and service issues, and developing/maintaining customer loyalty. • Entering/revising product orders into order-entry system; or verifying accuracy of order. • Issuing order credits. • Ensuring orders are priced accurately and invoices are issued promptly. • Resolving pricing/invoicing/credit/payment/shipping discrepancies for customer with appropriate department or vendor. • Handling customer orders from the moment of receipt until delivery to customer. • Additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED, required - advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus. • 1-3 years experience in a similar position. • Strong knowledge of computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Knowledge of order-entry/reporting. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences. • Strong communication skills; ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates individual and group presentation skills. • Self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. • Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business.
