Scientific Recruiter

Requirements - The Scientific Recruiter requires a Bachelors Degree in a Physical or Life Science, Human Resources or related Business degree. The ideal candidate will possess 0-3 years of Scientific/Technical recruiting or sales experience preferably in a Science, Clinical, Engineering or IT staffing industry environment. Must have Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and organizational skills as well as, the ability to multitask and switch gears while managing time efficiently, in a fast paced environment. Possession of a sales aptitude is desired, along with the experience and desire to identify, source, recruit and coordinate the hiring process.

Responsibilities – The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for the recruitment and sourcing of Laboratory Science, Clinical Research and Engineering personnel for temporary/contract positions in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Specialty Chemical industries or other Joulé clients. Position will entail the following responsibilities while reporting directly to the Recruiting Manager;

ü 75% Utilize all recruiting tools available to identify and qualify candidates for Scientific contract positions while performing the following key functions;
o Recruitment and sourcing of candidates through all resources..
o Selling and marketing positions to candidates
o In-person interviewing and qualification screening
o Sourcing and tracking using metrics
o Reference checking
o Candidate presentation to hiring managers
o Full-Life cycle recruitment and placement

ü 15% Employee relations for contract employees;
o Negotiations and closing of candidates on positions.
o Continuous contact with employees on assignment
o Periodic quality checks and annual reviews
o Hiring packages and benefit involvement.

ü 10% Other Recruitment responsibilities as assigned by the Recruiting Manager;
o Client visits with sales representatives
o Development of sales leads
o Limited Account Management
o Electronic and paper advertisement
