I need to ask anyone for some help here. I am a 48 year old unemployed disabled man, I have major health issues that is complicated by the fact I am under treatment for Leukemia, I am done my sixth treatment and I simply can not afford the gas to drive to town and back, which is about 100 miles round trip. Highland Meadows is a community development in Laguna. I do not have anyone here near me to help me, because all my money from SSI goes to rent, electric, car insurance, and needed items. I really need to get gas for my car so I can get to my doctors, to food banks, grocery shopping, etc. I am on food stamps, comes on 20th of each month, 99 dollars is what I get. I live about 45 miles from nearest town, etc, so churches and salvation army is not close by. I am on SSI, 654 dollars a month, 350 pays rent, 65 pays electricity, 50 pays car insurance, 45 pays for telephone, and nothing left over. I buy some gas and dog food with left over cash and thats it. If you can help with anything, please let me know. Here is my wish list. 1.) Fuel Cards to get back and forth for treatment. 2.) Food. 3.) Donation to help with electric bill. 4.) Gift cards, for Walmart, Autozone ( for a 58 dollar water pump and antifreeze), Home Depot, ( for needed home repair) etc. My address is HC77 Box 191, Laguna, New Mexico 87026.
