The Pet Stand provides pet owners and veterinarians with a safe and efficient method for restraining an animal so that a medication may be administered with ease. This device offers a comfortable and humane way of holding the animal so that they may receive a shot for allergies, diabetes, vaccines, and other necessary shots. The stand prevents the animal from lashing out or biting the individual administering the shot. It provides an easy method for ensuring that the medication is given properly and painlessly.
Problem s the Invention Solves:
Many pets require a shot of some type, whether it is for a vaccine, allergies, diabetes, and so forth. It can be difficult for a pet owner or veterinarian to restrain the animal so that the medication can be administered properly. It is hard to free up both hands in order to pull back the animalís skin and give the shot. Animals may get aggressive and snap at or bite the individual. It often takes more than one person to restrain the animal so that the medicine can be given. An easier and safer method is needed.
Detailed Description of the Invention:
The Pet Stand offers an efficient method of holding a pet so that medication may be administered with ease. The invention consists of a flat platform with two vertical arms protruding from the end of the platform. There is a muzzle connected by two clips to either side of the arms on the stand. Each arm may have an attached ring that the clips may be attached to. The muzzle will prevent the animal from biting during the shot. The muzzle includes a collar that will restrain the animal during the process. The structure may be made out of wood, plastic, or other suitable material. The platform may include a slip-resistant material to provide traction for the animal. The product may be available in a variety of colors. The structure may be available in multiple sizes to accommodate various sized animals. The exact specifications may vary. .
