Sewing 101 Introduction Basic Sewing Techniques - Learn how to use sewing machine, hand stitches, machine stitches, seam finishes, hems, darts, pleats, zipper installation, button hole, and pocket. Sewing project: apron, cushion cover, and tote bag.

Sewing 102 Commercial Pattern Adjustment - Learn how to adjust commercial pattern to fit personal measurements. Sewing project: skirt, blouse, and pant.

Sewing 103 Basic Alternations - Learn garment alteration techniques. Bring a finished garment that require alterations like shortening, lengthening etc., and work on making it fit.

Option 1: Students are responsible for their supplies
Option 2: Workshop provides all class materials just $5

The sewing studio is located on Michigan Avenue / 31st Street (Close to Illinois Institute of Technology)

Street parking is plentiful. No need for permits or quarters for meters
