- Manage a team of engineers and planners including Requirements analysts, Modeling & Simulation specialists, and capacity management planners who are required to maintain the performance baseline and documentation of the company with specific experience and expertise in data center design, IT infrastructure, and support to company's mission applications. - Define, coordinate, schedule, and control systems engineering activities that result from completed and planned program work or the result of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP). - Support new ECPs by providing requirements and systems design and test inputs to the technical, cost, and schedule components of the ECPs. - Assume responsibility for Cost Account management as the Systems Engineering CAM with all of the duties required by the company's Earned Value Management System. - Integrate, monitor, assign, and control work to staff under current tasking and budgeting and incorporate changes from awarded ECPs - Prepare presentations, as required, about the status and plans of the Systems Engineering component of the overall ActiveIT engineering effort. - Work with Active IT leadership, the company program office staff, and customer community to detect and resolve program issues that impact the progress of completing the company and the ActiveIT contract. - Support proposal efforts with cost, schedule, and technical inputs. - Design, develop, and coordinate systems engineering processes that sustain the quality and timeliness of contract documentation and deliverable.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. - Prior experience with the company and its requirements management process. - Project Management of system deliveries (development/deployment). - Schedule and Budget Management. - Understanding of company’s operational environment. - Excellent writing and document generation skills. - Strong communication skills. - System Engineering research / analysis experience. - Ability to adapt to high-tech networking and data center environments. - Experience in differentiating between ASP/ISP, a plus. - Bachelors Degree in Engineering or IT Related Discipline. - ITIL V3 Certified Desired Skills: - Certified Systems Engineer - Masters Degree in Engineering or IT Related Discipline - Change/Configuration Management experience - PMP certified
