Teens Count is in search of Camp Counselors for its 7-week summer camp program. The summer program will provide a multifaceted education and employment experience. Through project-based learning, youth will learn the basic principles of acting, voice training, runway/modeling technique, how to develop business plans and marketing strategies, all aspects of theatrical and fashion show production, learn about the career paths of fashion and performing arts industry professionals, and participate in mock job searches, interviews, and auditions. The Counselor will be responsible for aiding program Instructors and staff during activities. Provide leadership and support to fellow counselors. Responsible for being an active part of all camp activities i.e. Ice breakers, group activities, fashion and theatre boot camp, guest speakers, field trips etc. Counselor is responsible for logging camp participants in and out manually. Responsible for promoting a positive healthy environment to enhance the participants experience. Teens Countís mission is to help students (ages 12-19) in transitioning from school to career by providing rewarding experiences and training in the performing arts, beauty and fashion, marketing, events management and merchandising industries.
