Deer Run Lodge is one of the last historic log lodges in the Northwoods, yet offers its guests all the modern amenities such as 13 bedrooms with 24 large, comfortable beds. We can accommodate up to 37 overnight guests and the lodge is handicap accessible, inside and out. Each of our 13 bedrooms is equipped with a twin or double bed and a queen or King sized bed. Two sitting rooms and two family rooms offer additional sleepers. We also offer free use of 2 cribs and playpens.
The lodge has 4 full bathrooms, stocked with complimentary toiletries and 3 new 80 gallon water heaters to ensure the comfort of our guests.
The kitchenette is fully stocked with small appliances, utensils, food storage, 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves, 1 full freezer and a dishwasher which are always available for our guests use. We offer complimentary coffee, condiments, ice, and cleaning supplies.
The main family room is a 20 foot by 60 foot Great Room wonderful for lounging, with a living area with sofas, cable TV, a desk with high-speed Internet access, VCR and DVD players, a list of over 500 DVD titles available for free rental, video games, a fire place, game area, reading area, fuse ball, table pool, and card and board games. The Great Room is furnished with a large dining area and is adjacent to an enclosed porch with a ping-pong table and tons of toys for the little ones. The Great Room is also ideal for special parties and receptions.
You will find more amenities in the upstairs family room, with 2 full bathrooms and a popular "salon" area, consisting of a large mirror and makeup lighting. Here there is another refrigerator, sofas, television with DVD and VHS players and exercise equipment. The upstairs bedrooms feature sitting rooms with a beautiful lake view.
For outdoor relaxation, enjoy towering pines with level grounds to the 1,600+ acre lake and plenty of boat docking, and a private 1300 Sq. Ft. deck with every imaginable amenity and furnishings desired including: covered grill gazebo, 3 charcoal grills, an outdoor bar, deck furnishings and lounge chairs, dining area, lakeside hot tub, and popular lakeside campfire pit. Available for play is a full children's playground, basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, a clean sand beach, and sand toys. Guests also have access to a row boat, pontoon boat, canoes, a fish cleaning house and a pier.
