Minimum Job Requirements:
•5 years executive assistant experience.
•Bachelor’s Degree Required
•Prior experience working with senior executives.
•Ability to thrive and excel in fast-paced & challenging environment.
•Ability to focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
•Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Must be a strong team player.
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overtime when needed.

Additional Preferred Requirements:
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, PowerPoint, and Excel.
•Ability to anticipate, and solve problems, and develop contingency actions to manage.
•In-depth knowledge of Aetna and its business units desirable.
•Ability to synthesize and prioritize information.
•Must be self-directed, articulate and focused on issue resolution.
•Ability to take initiative to improve own capabilities as business changes and opportunities arise.

Essential Functions:
•Independently provide advanced, diversified and confidential administrative support to the Head of Federal Government Affairs, and Head of Public Policy and staff members.
•Initiate correspondence
•Resolve complex inquiries
•Coordinate complex meetings and travel arrangements
•Coordinate manager’s internal and external time commitments.
•Has authority to handle most issues in manager’s absence.
