Title: Business Development Summer Associate

Join one of the most innovative fast action teams in Silicon Valley. In 2010 Skyline began delivering a ground-breaking, scalable and cost effective solar power technology for the commercial, industrial and utility segments. Production systems are already being deployed and will soon provide many megawatts of clean power around the world. Skyline is funded by top-tier venture capital and industry investors.

You'll be part of Skyline’s core business team and responsible for projects across the full spectrum of commercial activities. Key activities will include account management, sales operations & support, project finance evaluation, economic and competitive analysis, and partner selection.

* 2+ years experience in management consulting, business analysis, business development, marketing, or related field
* BS/BA degree; finance, marketing, engineering or other technical field a plus
* Demonstrated interest in the clean technology industry; experience with energy generation deals, solar or other clean energy a plus
* Demonstrated understanding of and experience building analytical decision-making models to inform business decisions
* Strong organization skills and the ability to simultaneously support multiple projects/ deals
* Superb quantitative, writing and communications skills
* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

* As a summer associate you will support the business development team on sourcing and executing deals involving customers, strategic alliance and/or channel partners
* Such activities may include: competitive analysis, detailed financial business modeling (e.g., cost/benefit analyses), development of decision-making tools, development of internal processes to automate aspects of lead qualification, etc. and supporting applications for government funding opportunities
* Identify & communicate opportunities to improve partnership strategies and processes to drive higher levels of growth
* Develop targeted collateral for specific geographic regions and customer segments

Other desirable personal qualities and skills:
* International business experience
* Experience in business contracts, licensing and intellectual property agreements
* Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision
* Team player capable of working cross-functionally within the company
* Creativity in finding approaches to achieve company and customer goals
