Responsibilities of Position: The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new accounts, re-soliciting existing accounts, developing customer relationships and maximizing revenue.
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of hotel sales
Specific Skills Required: Cold calling, negotiating, prospecting
Education Required and experience: At least 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience; or a 4 year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a 2 year college degree and at least 5 years of hotel sales experience.
Opportunity Description: Our ideal candidate must possess strong sales skills, as well as strong writing, communication and customer service skills. Previous hotel Sales Manager experience preferred, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing skills. Must be able to work independently, as well as be able to work in a group environment. Long hours sometimes required. Ability to travel required.
