State certified individuals with credentials of a LCAS, CSAC, CCS or CCAS. Please submit resume.
Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) who can provide services to consumers with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse, under provision North Carolina Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Services. Professional role consist of providing clinical skills, assessing mental health and substance abuse clients for appropriate level of care in a team approach that encourages recovery, personal and emotional growth.

Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) who can provide case management services to target population inclusive of identifying, arranging, linking and coordinating the implementation of additional services/supports.

REQUIREMENTS

The Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) must possess the following:
-A master's degree with a clinical application in a human services field; with Two (2) years or 4,000 hours, verifiable full time, post-graduate, accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served
-Certification as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist by the NCSAPPB.
-A knowledge of the history of substance dependence, the bio-psychosocial influences and effects of dependencies and the range of treatment appropriate for this population;
-Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on detailed work.

Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) who can provide case management services to target population inclusive of identifying, arranging, linking and coordinating the implementation of additional services/supports.

The CSAC must be the following:
-A High School graduate, or recipient of a GED, with two years, post graduate supervised substance abuse counseling experience –OR-
-A graduate of a college or university with a master’s degree in a related Human Services field and has two (2) years of verifiable full time, post graduate accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served. -AND-
-Certified by the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (NCSAPPB)
