Account Manager Job Description: The Account Manager will work with customers to develop and close sales. Account Managers will build their local geographic areas by selling listings on MapWide to local professionals and businesses, The sales function is to develop, maintain and grow business while developing new customers for the company as we add new search portals. This position is a career oriented, full time position allowing independence and flexibility in a virtual work environment. You must be a self starter, enjoy working with people, making cold calls, and have the mature understanding of the importance of delivering results. The best performers will be considered for advancement. Job requirements: • Sales experience is a plus but not required. • Must possess a high degree of self-motivation, and well developed planning, organization and time management skills. • Have excellent communication, presentation skills, and the ability to present the MapWide benefits in response to the unique needs of each customer. • Must have transportation, a computer, high speed internet access, Microsoft Office Suite and mobile phone and ability to work from home. Compensation: First 6 weeks on contract – 1099 employee commission only; successful candidates become a company employee with $34K base + commission + bonus. Opportunity to make $50,000 - $75,000 per year or more. No cap on commission. Residuals included in compensation when customers extend listing.
