Position Description Independent Sr. Sales Account Executive opportunity with national telecom consulting firm - requires residency in Dane, Iowa or Sauk Counties.

We are actively searching for experienced Sales Account Executives for Telecommunications Consulting Solution Sales. The candidate will have 5+ years of experience in sales roles, preferably with solution/services sales in technology or telecommunications industry. We are looking for candidates with all or some of the following skills and/or experience:
Consultative Sales, Account Management, problem solving skills and organization skills, - able/willing to learn, communication/presentation skills, prospecting & territory development, and the ability to work in a truly independent environment self motivated leaders are a must!

The successful candidate will be mobile and will maintain their own separate office from which to work. This is a contract position, commission. Semi-retired, retired or those considering switching careers are encouraged to apply, along with sales professionals with current jobs who are looking for additional income. Our sales people are measured on sales results, so compensation is never capped, (Commissions up to 50% of sales revenues), and is commensurate with experience and sales volumes. Experience - Candidate Must Have:
5+ years of Sales experience
Experience in selling both products and services
High level of problem solving skills
Consultative selling experience
Strong presentation skills

The ideal candidate is comfortable in an early stage environment, has a consultative approach and is a hunter/closer that is excellent at setting and surpassing customer expectations. The candidate will have the ability to conduct business discussions at an executive level, identifying key issues critical to the sales process. This person has a strong passion for customer success and will focus on obtaining and retaining reference-able small to mid-size business customers. As an entrepreneur, the Sales Account Executive understands the demands of an early stage opportunity and works with the team in a collaborative, problem solving manner. We desire someone who has strong execution skills, focused, responsible and accountable.
