SPIRITS FIELD MANAGER NEEDED (TAMPA/ORLANDO AREA)

The person responsible for execution, under Regional Management and local client contact guidance, a definition of the programming. The Field Manager then ensures that the project is staffed, delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications) for their territory. He/she ensures the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including all program contributors). Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
The Field Manager is also responsible for managing the work of sampling agent consultants, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.

Candidates must be
Over 21
Posses a BA or higher in Marketing/Communications
Must have a vehicle and clean driving record
Must Have 3-5 years in promotional marketing management.
Must Have experience working with wines and spirits
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXCEPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Reports to: Region Manager


• Responsible for executing and coordinating all branded consumer event activities in market
• Recruit, train, manage and evaluate sampling agents and event staff
• Report pay owed into SEG HQ in a timely manner based on pay cycle schedule
• Schedule promotions and event calendar
• Attend and manage a minimum of 75% of the events in market
• Recruit temporary program staff and consultants in coordination with Regional Manager
• Manage coordination of the client partner and working groups engaged in program work
• Arrange full staff training sessions including training materials as needed for each program
• Manage 3 Micro Markets...Orlando, Tampa, Tallahasee
• Maintain a detailed program plan for their territory
• Manage and operate POS warehousing, inventory and transport
• Provide status reports to the designated Regional Manager
• Manage project deliverables in line with the event program plan
• Record and manage program issues and escalate where necessary
• Resolve cross-functional issues at program level
• Monitor project progress and performance
• Manage project training within the defined budget
• Drive consumer experience via temporary staff use and logistical expertise
• Delegate and plan for all on-site brand field activities
• Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan and budget
• Demonstrate ability to produce results by leveraging resources, maintain tough expense control, manage merchandise effectively, and set clear expectations
• Full data entry and recap management from sampling agents and territory of coverage on the SEG Portal / Intranet
• Track record of fair administration of policies and total development of sampling team
• Identify local event opportunities for the clients portfolio
