The Salt Lake City Arts Council invites you to join us and support our 25th annual celebration of Salt Lake’s Folk and Ethnic Arts! Our volunteers provide an invaluable service to the operation of this festival and contribute to the spirit of Living Traditions.

The Living Traditions Festival is an important annual community event that presents over 50 performances, the work of dozens of craft artists, the traditional foods of over twenty ethnic community groups, and a number of workshops to explore the cultural traditions of the many ethnic groups that call Utah home. Over 300 volunteers will be needed this year to help with Living Traditions Kids, stage area, bocce ball, crafts market, set-up, take-down and more.

The 2010 Living Traditions Festival will be held May 21, 22, and 23 at the Salt Lake City & County Building, 450 South 200 East.

Volunteer shifts are available in 3-hour increments from May 19th - 24th. Please respond to this post via email or phone for more information and/or to sign-up for a shift.

For general information about the festival, please visit our website.
