Coordinator of Support Services & Marketing

Job Description

Reports to: Executive Director

Essential Functions

• Maintains the affiliate’s web site with exceptional writing, graphic design and technical skills

• Demonstrates a grasp of the full scope of the affiliate’s work and ensures timely web postings and removal of expired information

• Designs and publishes the affiliate’s newsletter and all collateral for general information dissemination, marketing each new build, groundbreakings, dedications, and ReStore needs.

• Effectively uses social media to grow financial and volunteer support for SGV Habitat for Humanity

• Supports the Executive Director by coordinating a variety of special projects which require mastery and extensive use of the entire suite of Microsoft Office programs

• Independently initiates and completes production, revision, and dissemination of recurring projects such as newsletters and web site photo postings and revisions

Minimum requirements

• Advanced competency in web management and graphic design

• Comfort and competency in using current and older versions of Adobe Creative Suites
• Competency in using all Microsoft Office tools

• Competency in professional written and spoken English language skills

• Ability to troubleshoot routine technology malfunctions

• Ability to coordinate special projects

• Ability to maintain a professional and clean office environment

• Effectively organizes and prioritizes multiple projects

• Processes information with speed and accuracy and promptly completes projects in accordance with planned time lines

• Deals professionally with unexpected demands and incidents

• Willingly initiates improvements to existing systems

Compensation: $31,200 annually with benefits
