Genesee County based client that specializes in business-to-business communications in the automotive aftermarket and service industry is in need of a Developer. PPS is looking for the right developer to help meet our client’s needs for high quality, flexible, innovative “yes-we-can” service. To do this well, we work in an informal, efficient, results-oriented environment, either independently or as a small team. There is no “red tape”, and we put a premium on our developers’ continued training to stay abreast of new technologies. The person filling this position will have the resources, authority and responsibility to make each project a success. Your main focus will be to develop and maintain custom learning management systems and e-learning software tools, as well as other custom software. Different clients have different requirements and you will be challenged to efficiently create high-quality solutions that meet our client’s needs.

Essential skills and qualifications for this position are:
• Ability to imagine and design user interfaces along with supporting code and database architecture based on high-level concept requests from our clients.
• N-Tier web application architecture design and development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Multi-tasking skills and flexibility are essential for this position.
• Web application development using ASP DotNET and ADO DotNET, preferably in C#.
• Strong MS SQL 2005 and SQL 2000 experience.
• HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Converting Web applications and databases from ASP DotNET 1.1 / SQL Server 2000 to ASP DotNET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005.
• SQL Server 2005 Services.
• Database administration.
• Network administration.
• Windows Server and IIS.
• Experience with Learning Management and/or Learning Content Management software, including SCORM compliance, will be given preference.
