Sr. Programmer C++, Linux PPS CLIENT is seeking motivated and skilled C++ programmer to be part of our team developing systems and applications for the independent retail pharmacy industry. PPS CLIENT is a vertically integrated system and software provider. Our integrated system consists of point of sale, integrated voice response, inventory control, auto order and rx imaging.
Duties include research, design, programming and testing for the retail pharmacy market. PPS CLIENT fully designs, develops, and implements all pharmacy system elements to include hardware, software, design, installation, training and support. PPS CLIENT provides the opportunity to be a part of the total design process. PPS CLIENT is part of the growing healthcare industry and has systems currently located in 13 states. PPS CLIENT has been in business for 18 years. Due to our continued growth, PPS CLIENT seeks to fill this position immediately. PPS CLIENT is located in a semi‐rural area, just 40 miles from Frankenmuth, Saginaw and Bay City, in a medium sized town of about 10,000. Applicant would be required to relocate to within a 30 minute commute.

Accountabilities: Interacts with all project team members, support groups, vendors and suppliers. Participates in the project planning process. Develops and translates program design and code specifications. Defines and documents technical requirements for development or modification of software application modules. Monitors system statistics and reports. Provides technical coaching and mentoring to less experience team members.
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. 5+ years general Linux or UNIX experience 3+ years of experience C++ programming
