Marketing Assistant Needed – Part Time but could turn into Full Time position
Growing HVAC and Plumbing service business is seeking a talented and bright Marketing Assistant. We are looking for an individual who is a confident and proficient marketer and promoter. They need to be familiar with the latest social media applications such as FaceBook, Twitter, Yelp, Digg, Delicious and Linkedin. They should have computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Publisher as well as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. A PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE IS A MUST! The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The job responsibilities include: * Keeping the company website updated, including the website blog. * Develop and implement best practices regarding SEO for our website. * Create press releases regularly and distribute to outlets. * Take photos and videos as needed, including jobsite photos, and interview customers for testimonials and other marketing ideas. * Set up marketing displays and attend Expos and Home Shows to promote our company. * Email marketing to existing customers. * Create new ads and edit existing ones. * Keeping the FaceBook, Merchant Circle, and Linkedin pages updated. * Developing new ideas to help promote the company. * Attend networking events to help promote the company. * Assist with taking calls from customers during peak call volumes.
This position pays $10/hour. (Subject to increase after first 90 days.) This is a new position for our company and will average about 20 hours per week initially. Depending on the results during the first 90-days, this has the potential to become a full-time position. We are looking for a person who requires very little supervision and training. It will be mutually beneficial to both parties if the individual lives close to Griffin, GA.
