The part-time Volunteer Coordinator assists in maintaining a corps of volunteers and assigns them to meet the need of the organization and the children and families served.

Job responsibilities include assisting in conducting the Volunteer Training Program, assigning and scheduling volunteers, coordination and communication with volunteers, planning and implementing volunteer recognition events, and serving as ongoing liaison with volunteers to encourage retention, stimulate a spirit of concern and cooperation, ascertain problems and continually improve the organization's services.

The Volunteer Coordinator is hired by and reports to the Executive Director. Day-to-day supervision will be by the Site Director.
