Cornerstone Christian Fellowship is looking for a Russian interpreter who can help us some time late in the month of April or early May, especially on either Sunday April 17 or 24 or May 2, and possibly some other time as well. Our church is involved in something called the Sister Church Project, which links churches here in the USA with churches in the former Soviet Union. The pastor of our sister church in Russia wants to visit us and we would like to have him speak in our Sunday Service. He doesn't speak much English, so we need someone who could interpret and who is familiar with Christian vernacular. The church he is from is from a brotherhood of unregistered Pentecostal churches who, before the Soviet Union was disolved, were at times persecuted by the goverment. Our church is a small independent non denominational Christian church, with a belief system similar to Assembly of God churches. As for pay, we may be able to offer a small stipend to offset expenses. If you know of anyone who may be able to help us, we would be very grateful if you would ask them to contact us. Also, if you know of Russian people living in the vicinity of Laconia who would like to hear Andrey preach, we would love to have them join us if they are interested. Thank you!
