RESPONSIBILITIES Field Payroll Review payroll data such as hours worked and project numbers that is received through automated payroll system. Process earned paid time off as requested. Run weekly payroll processes to integrate automated payroll data with corporate payroll system. Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll Recruiting Assistance Place job advertising ads to attract applicants. Provide information about company job opportunities to potential field/construction applicants. Review applications to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements. Initiate contact with job candidates to gather information that will be used to determine qualifications and screen for interview with Manager. Arrange orientation for new employees. Arrange travel for new and existing employees. Process new employee travel reimbursement. Additional Tasks Arrange for and track required employee medical testing. Assist with arrangement of DOT driver recertification appointments. Maintain random drug & alcohol testing pool lists and assist with arrangement of associated appointments. Offer assistance to traveling supervisors by acting as a contact for questions, supplies, travel arrangements etc. Provide Reception backup
REQUIREMENTS Associates degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-4 years of payroll processing experience and excellent organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Self-starter who is able to prioritize effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment. Strong problem solving and excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll/Human Resources or comparable software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel and Word. Current drivers license with favorable driving record for occasional business errands and/or possible travel. Background check required.
