International Bancard Corporation (IBC) is a leading national financial transaction services company. We’re seeking a Channel Director with banking experience and at least 10 years managing field and inside sales organizations.

To best serve our banking client, you must think and act like a true partner to the bank’s corporate, regional and branch managers. You need a “rock star” mentality, be able to win the respect of the client and own the relationship. You know how to “make soup” out of every situation and can manage and coach district managers to become better performers. And you can have a little fun along the way.

While not required, prior experience in banking or selling payment-processing services is a plus. You’ll work in our corporate office as well in the field supporting our district managers, corporate bank executives and regional bank managers. Your coverage includes the Akron, Cleveland, Ohio, Green Bay, Wisconsin and Bay City/Saginaw and Southeast Michigan areas.

Expect to receive world-class training on our products and services, as well as how to use our Web-based CRM reporting system for all deals entered and customers on-boarded with IBC. This base salary and bonus income opportunity includes benefits like basic health coverage, cell phone allowance and gas card.

Required Skills:
The Channel Director will possess all the skill sets of a high-performing corporate sales executive. That means you’ll be a sales leader, articulate, polished, professional, personable, likable, respectable, honest and a fast learner. You’ll also be able to manage clients from initial contact to close. The Channel Director must set and manage customer expectations with channel partners and their business customers who will ultimately sign on with IBC. You must have a proven track record of managing other strong sales professionals and the ability to provide performance-based coaching, and hold individuals and yourself accountable to meeting sales objectives and goals. You’ll be willing to go the extra mile, always exploring new ways to surprise and impress the client.

Education & Experience:
• Minimum BA or BS degree from an accredited university
• 10 years of sales experience servicing large organizations with hundreds of locations
• Excellent, proven customer service skills
• Experience in banking or payment-processing service sales desired but not required
Demonstrated ability to build, lead and inspire a high-performance team
A verifiable track record of sales success
