I am a licensed and experienced Yoga Teacher, CPR/First Aid certified, a caring mom, have a BS in Language and love working with kids!
I offer very affordable 4 weeks sessions for children starting from the age 4.
My method of teaching incorporates the use of interactive child-friendly yoga poses, done individually, with the partner and in the group, different age-appropriate themes, music, stories, yoga games, puppets, breathing and relaxation exercises and visualization techniques in the class to help kids stimulate their senses as well as stretch and strengthen their developing bodies. Kids are encouraged to explore and discover the mind and body in a fun-filled way.
I will provide engaging ideas and creative ways for children to improve concentration and focus, stimulate their imagination and help to release energy in a fun, safe environment, help build confidence, trust, teamwork, and a sense of calm to get them to relax and develop self-control that are beneficial for children of all ages.
My creative approach incorporates a lot of fun into each class, while encouraging kids to find their inner-peace, promotes confidence and self-esteem; a feeling of well-being and respect for others and love for one's self, inside and out.
I use elements of Brain Gym Ė Educational Kinesiology that enhances learning, balances left and right hemispheres of the brain.
To all my classes I bring enthusiasm, confidence and creativity, patience and acceptance, friendly attitude, an open heart and an open mind. My goal is to provide children with the necessary tools to live a healthy, peaceful and well-balanced life!
