Aren't you sick of these factories spewing out toxins into YOUR air? Isn't it wrong that we need health care to stay alive yet the cost are killing us? There is a lot going wrong in our society, and this is your chance to let everyone know what you think is important.
Art4Justice is holding a youth-led art showcase at the Vera Project on May 14th, 2010 revolving around social and environmental injustices. If you're between the ages of 14-22, and you want to showcase your art to communicate to our community what injustice pisses you off most, reply to this ad to get an application and get started on this! We've made the application process as quick and painless as possible so you could have the time to focus on your piece.
Art can be many things: poetry, a canvas painting, a sculpture, even a 3 minute song! What's important is that you get your chance to use your talent to translate your message about social/environmental injustice!
Applications are due by April 10th! It's a really quick process, so don't be intimidated. Reply to this ad for any questions or support!
