Advance Systems America is a premier provider of Employee Management Systems. We deliver state-of-the-art Time & Attendance, HR Solutions and installation expertise to the world’s most prestigious banks, insurance companies, hotels, government departments, retailers, manufacturers and distribution companies. Advance Systems America is seeking an Implementation Consultant for our growing Boston, Massachusetts staff. This role is a technical product expert who installs, configures and supports Advance System’s Time & Attendance and HR software. This is a client facing technical position that requires knowledge of Client server databases, web applications and networking / DNS. The role involves travel to customer’s sites for installation, configuration and system training.
Responsibilities •Lead a full life cycle client implementation including discovery, analysis, writing interface specifications, configuration plans, test plan outlines and project plans. •Provide “best practice” guidance to client project managers on system implementation, configuration and testing. •Manage client expectations and project timelines to written proposals and scope of work. •Work closely with internal and external subject matter experts to optimize the intrinsic value delivered to the client. •Organize tasks to maximize the productivity and efficient utilization of internal resources. •Provided insight and creativity into solving business process challenges. •Produce status reports for senior management and engagement managers. •Interact cooperatively with third party vendors, trainers, customer support and other company staff.
Skills •A professional action oriented approach to delivering client service. •Must maintain a high level of knowledge of the time and attendance space. •Experience implementing complex Time and Labor, Scheduling or ERP or CRM applications for large external organizations. •Ability to earn trust and respect from customers and coworkers with a variety of personality types and skill levels. •Polished and professional verbal and written skills. •A high level of organization and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. •A thorough understanding of Web based applications and Microsoft server and development technologies. •Ability to explain complex concepts to audiences of all skill levels.
Education and Experience •Minimum of three years application consulting experience on complex software applications such as Time and Labor, ERP, workflow, document management or other large complex multi-user software application. Experience with external clients preferred. •Minimum of three years of application development and deployment experience in a Microsoft development environment. •Technical skills must including SQL Databse, IIS, Asp . net, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, and knowledge of networking a plus. •Knowledge of time and attendance and cost accounting space, including Union work rules. •PMI Certification a big plus.
