Growing home care company is seeking a Community Liaison to develop relationships within the health-care community. This includes responding to customer requests in an efficient and professional manner, while reporting customer/employee comments and concerns to relevant supervisory staff. The Community Liaison’s efforts will emphasize establishment and nurturing of meaningful and productive referral sources that can provide ComForcare ongoing consistent clients. Goals and objectives will be planned and discussed prior to significant efforts being expended. ComForcare management will provide input as to how and where to most efficiently allocate liaison efforts.
This position will provide significant autonomy within the broad constraints of predetermined goals and objectives. The best individual for this position is someone who possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, someone who can demonstrate initiative and responsibility, function independently and is self-directed. The ability to effectively talk to target customers and educate referral sources of home care guidelines and services is a plus. A bachelor’s degree in social work, nursing, discharge planning, or other related fields and a strong knowledge of the health-care industry is recommended for this position. Prior hospital, nursing home, or health related relationships a plus.
The ideal candidate would be smartly dressed, with moderate computer skills and comfortable with low pressure networking.
