Job Summary: Oversee a wide variety of criminal justice system consulting projects; procure and create documents for specific projects.
Assist in screening incoming consulting projects Draft project scopes of work and budgets Maintain regular communication with clients Maintain project to-do lists and check with project staff regarding deliverables periodically Ensure that projects are completed on time within the specified budget Document, summarize, and distribute reports on project meetings and calls Receive, file, and organize project documents
Criminal Justice and/or Human Service, AOD, MH, Health experience Demonstrable project management skills and experience
Balanced attention to detail and deadlines in addition to the overall scope of J-SAT and specific project work requirements; Excellent writing and editing skills; Good familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and web browsing programs; Self-motivated, hard workerdoes not need much oversight or external reinforcement; Good at multi-tasking, organization, and efficient time management; Willing to take initiative and ask questions until a task is fully understood; Willing to make informed decisions and take the consequences, rather than always deferring Quick to learn new skills and terms; Good problem solvingkeeps trying things until they work; Able to tolerate ambiguity, change, uncertainty, and risk; Able to be appropriately assertive as well as take responsibility for mistakes; Able to plan out projects and estimate actual length of time required.
Hours: Flexible schedule, 40 hours per week
