About the location: The building is located on Adeline, on the border of Emeryville and Oakland, very close to Berkeley. 20 min bus ride to UC Berkeley campus (and this bus is NOT going to be discontinued in the end of March!). 15 min walk or 5 min bus ride to McArthur BART. Emery-Go-Round runs by the building - it is a free shuttle that connects our neighborhood to McArthur BART and Bay Street stores (as well as IKEA, the movie theater, Trader Joe's, Sephora, Apple Store, etc.). A lot of large stores like Best Buy, Home Depot, and several grocery stores within a 5 min drive. Downtown SF is 25 min by bus, which runs by the building. The neighborhood is residential and quiet but very close to the bustling downtown Berkeley and Oakland, as well as SF and parks in the Hills. Perfect for commuters to Downtown SF and students at UC Berkeley. We commute to SF and UC Berkeley campus on a daily basis by public transportation and find it very convenient.
About us: There are two roommates in the apartment (us), and we are very nice, easygoing and rarely at home. One of us works in SF, the other one is a law student at UC Berkeley.
