Operations Manager/ Sales Assistant
Duties and Functions: Manages and directs the daily activities of the Appraisal Management Firm. Responsible for all daily office functions to include reviewing of appraisals in large volume, maintain production of new and open orders, guide, direct and aggressively manage the current operations staff of eight to reach daily and monthly quotas. Develops and implements policies and procedures and ensures efficient delivery of products and services to vendors and clients alike. Other responsibilities include; data entry, marketing blog, sales, presentation materials, billing and invoicing. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Act contact management software are a must. Communicate with new and existing customer to increase sales volume. Use on line sources and existing customer list to further expand sale base.
Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in the field or in a related area and must have a strong underwriting background to include FHA/VA guidelines, be familiar with a wide variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Be a proven leader with strong sales and communications skills. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Operations Manager relies on experience and fluid judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Candidate must perform a variety of complicated tasks, lead and direct the work of others.
