WYZE 1480AM is seeking interns/volunteers for the LAST DAYS OUTREACH MINISTRY with “The Cute Lady” Apostle Marvelene Foster
Do you have a calling of service in your life? Ever wanted to be in broadcast or work in a radio station? Or are you a college student looking to gain experience in the radio broadcasting field? If so, today may be your lucky day! “The Cute Lady” Apostle Marvelene Foster is looking to fill several slots for the LAST DAYS OUTREACH MINISTRY. This program airs every Wednesday from 7:15PM-8:15PM on WYZE 1480AM Radio. The following positions to be filled are Production Assistant, Program Producer, Content Producer, and Studio Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the radio/broadcasting field. College students are encouraged to apply, college credits will be available. These are volunteer/intern positions, but have the potential to grow into permanent, paid careers! Descriptions may include but not limited to the following:
Production Assistant • Assists “The Cute Lady” by generating providing research materials for interviews, assisting with guest booking, and producing show element. • Assists show's production office handling such tasks as phones, deliveries, script copies, and related tasks in coordination with the production manager and production coordinator.
Program Producer • Participate on the air as co-hosts of “LAST DAYS OUTREACH MINISTRY," providing counterpoints to host and/or guests comments. • Run sound boards, mix in audio feeds, sound effects, answer telephone calls regarding the program, dealing with listeners, guests, hosts, and other support staff. • Obtain ability to write/produce public service announcements & promos for the radio station.
Content Producer • Work with content operations manager to formulate and execute overall content strategy. • Review on-going program and hold regular meetings with staff to brainstorm new ideas for content and ensure improvements are implemented.
Studio Coordinator • Set and maintain quality control of assigned production projects and monitor all program material to the channel audience and sponsors • Coordinate interview schedules and pre-recorded concepts to air between guests, public service announcements, etc. • Assists “The Cute Lady” in recruiting and training volunteers to assist with day-to-day operations.
