• Application Testing – 5 years • GIS applications – 2 years • Oracle applications – 2 years • Previous referenceable experience of similar scale.
• Using industry standard tools (such as Mercury software) and practices. Prepare and execute test plan and test cases for a “functional” and “non-functional” testing of complex 3-tiered large software applications.
o Functional testing includes: System Integration Testing and Regression Testing of the application functionality as defined in the functional requirements.
o Nonfunctional testing includes (but not limited to): Installation testing, Penetration testing, Authentication testing, Accessibility testing, Data validation, Stress/Load testing etc.
o Complex 3-tiered applications: Complexity results from several factors including need for eAuthentication, transactional integrity, large real-time data transactions, row-level security for data partitioning, interoperability needs, web-based applications with an oracle based back-end interacting with heterogeneous hardware.
o The data center environment is multi-tier consisting of both .NET and J2EE technologies (e.g. ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, and other ESRI products, Oracle 9i and 10g database software and Oracle 10g applications software, Oracle Content Data Base, MS MIIS and Active Directory, Citrix and USDA’s eAuthentication, Oracle RAC and Grid, as well as SQL Server cluster and SAN).
Candidate must be able to:
• Document test plans for application migrations. • Document test reports which include test cases execution, results of test and provide recommendation for improvements ( in application development and testing) in order to increase productivity of the application migration cycles.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field.
