We are currently seeking a Field Support Technician. The position focus will be on customer satisfaction by providing field service support staff with the parts tools and technical information needed to service our customers.
•Supplies the field staff with the equipment, supplies and resources needed to support optimal performance of customers’ equipment •Repairs and troubleshoots laboratory equipment •Provides routine preventative maintenance, qualifications, and verification services •Adheres to environmental health and safety guidelines •Oversees and manages parts and coordinates resources •Provides internal and external training on laboratory instrumentation •Provides feedback to manufacturing divisions •Maintains up to date technical knowledge for assigned products
•Associates Degree with minimum of 5 years experience preferably with pharmaceutical or industrial instrumentation; Bachelor’s Degree preferred •Extensive knowledge of electronic repair •Demonstrated ability to read schematics •Strong trouble shooting abilities •Working knowledge of electronics, optics, precision mechanical assemblies, vacuum systems and refrigeration •Prior experience with laboratory instrumentation (LC/GC, spectroscopy, beta counters, centrifugation) highly preferred
